Liverpool Lime Railway Station is just over two hours from London with a direct service every hour.  There are also regular services from Blackpool, Birmingham, Wigan and Scarborough.

Local services depart Liverpool Lime Street for Chester, Ellesmere Port and the Wirral via Merseyrail, Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Airport, Warrington and Liverpool South Parkway for Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

Manchester Piccadilly Railway Station is just over two hours from London with three trains per hour.  There are also direct services from Carlisle, Cardiff and South Wales, Cleethorpes, Edinburgh, Middlesborough, North Wales, Preston, Scarborough, Sheffield, Southport and Shrewsbury.

Local services depart Manchester Piccadilly for Alderley Edge, BuxtonChesterCrewe, Liverpool Lime Street, Manchester Airport and Stoke-on-Trent.
