Hartford Railway Station

Hartford Railway Station is on the Birmingham to Liverpool Lime Street Line via Wolverhampton, Stafford, Crewe, Runcorn and Liverpool South Parkway.

The station is on the A559, Chester Road, from Northwich to Sandiway, directly opposite the Coachman pub.

There is a bus service (Monday – Saturday) from outside the railway station to Northwich, Sandiway, Tarvin and Chester.

The station is staffed part time and has a no-charge car park for over 80 vehicles.  There are toilets but no payphone at this station.

If you are travelling from:

London and the South - consider taking a fast Virgin Trains service and change at Crewe.

Scotland and the North – consider travelling via Crewe or Liverpool Lime Street.

Manchester or North Wales – consider travelling via Crewe.

Yorkshire or the North East - consider travelling to Manchester Piccadilly where you can take a direct service to Liverpool Sth Parkway and then take the local service to this station.

Note, if convenient, you may find a faster service by via Stockport and Crewe.

If you are arriving at:

Liverpool John Lennon Airport - there is a direct service from Liverpool Sth Parkway - which is 10 minutes away from the main terminal by bus.

Manchester Airport - consider travelling via Manchester Piccadilly and Crewe.

Manchester Airport Railway Station is in the heart of the airport.

Depending on where you are travelling from, you may find a more convenient service to Greenbank Railway Station which is 1.2 miles away.
