Getting to Acton Bridge by Train

Acton Bridge Railway Station is on the Birmingham to Liverpool Lime Street Line via Wolverhampton, Stafford, Crewe, Runcorn and Liverpool South Parkway.

If you are travelling to Acton Bridge from afar you may need to change trains at:

Crewe Railway Station is 90 minutes away from London by train with two trains per hour. There are also direct services from Birmingham & the West Midlands, Cardiff & South Wales, Edinburgh, Glasgow and North Wales.

Local services depart Crewe for Derby, Chester, Derby, Liverpool Lime Street, Shrewsbury and Manchester Piccadilly.

Liverpool Lime Railway Station is just over two hours from London with a direct service every hour.  There are also regular services from Blackpool, Birmingham, Wigan and Scarborough.

Local services depart Liverpool Lime Street for Chester, Ellesmere Port and the Wirral via Merseyrail, Manchester Piccadilly, Manchester Airport, Warrington and Liverpool South Parkway for Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

You should note that a number of the local services do NOT stop at this station.

Depending on where you are travelling from, you may find a more convenient service to Cuddington (2.6 miles away), Frodsham (6.3 miles away) or Warrington Bank Quay (9.7 miles away) Railway Stations.
